Fund Team Member (Paralegal or Junior Legal)

The Fund Team member is under the direct supervision of the management of SGSS Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities
· Daily business of distributing foreign funds in Switzerland: coordination of the documents, verification of Swiss mandatory contents, with the respect of the deadlines. Preparation of the files for submission to the authorities. Contribution to listing requests and mandatory publication.
· Appropriate communication with clients for day-to-day issues, newsletters, etc.
· Participation on the offering definition, service level agreements, contracts.
· Coordination on distribution contracts.
· Participation to marketing events, as case may be.
Candidate profile

· Education: Law degree or similar. However, candidates with strong practical funds background will be considered.
· 2 years professional experience at the Fund/legal department of a fund manager, fund administration, custodian bank, legal practice in each case with a focus on the fund business. Knowledge of distribution agreements is an advantage.
· Ability to work in English, German and French (written and spoken)
· Knowledge of the fund industry
· Strong analyzing methodology
· As advantage: knowledge of distribution agreements
· General competencies: Flexibility, adaptability, ability to work under pressure, teamwork
· Personal abilities: Hands-on pragmatic approach, willing to learn and adapt based on circumstances, excellent communication skills, result oriented

Contract: open-ended contract
